Pr\u00e9-candidato a deputado federal, o vereador e presidente da C\u00e2mara Municipal de Natal, Paulinho Freire (UB), saiu em defesa da pr\u00e9-candidatura de Rog\u00e9rio Marinho (PL) ao Senado.
Em discurso realizado durante reuni\u00e3o dos amigos do vereador Aldo Clemente (PSDB) nesta segunda-feira (19), Paulinho criticou a atual bancada potiguar do Senado e disse que nenhum outro ex-ministro nascido no RN fez mais pelo Estado que Rog\u00e9rio.

“Gostaria que voc\u00eas fizessem uma reflex\u00e3o. Essa bancada de senadores, o que eles fizeram pelo RN? Talvez seja a pior representa\u00e7\u00e3o que o Estado j\u00e1 teve”, disse Paulinho. Em seguida, o vereador destacou a capacidade e vontade de trabalhar de Rog\u00e9rio: \u201cAqui n\u00f3s temos uma pr\u00e9-candidatura que foi testada, que quando pode ajudar o Rio Grande do Norte, fez o que ele fez. J\u00e1 tivemos ministros, mas nenhum fez o que Rog\u00e9rio Marinho fez pelo RN. Nosso estado n\u00e3o pode perder mais, o Rio Grande do Norte tem que abrir os olhos, n\u00e3o podemos dar um passo atr\u00e1s\u201d, disse o pr\u00e9-candidato a deputado federal.

O evento promovido pelo vereador Aldo Clemente foi realizado na sede social do Am\u00e9rica e reuniu uma verdadeira multid\u00e3o. Tamb\u00e9m estiveram presentes o pr\u00f3prio Rog\u00e9rio Marinho e o deputado estadual Ezequiel Ferreira (PSDB).
