Em resposta, o ministro Fl\u00e1vio Dino alegou necessidade de autoriza\u00e7\u00e3o do STF, justificando que a divulga\u00e7\u00e3o poderia interferir nas investiga\u00e7\u00f5es em andamento.<br \/>Posteriormente, com a aprova\u00e7\u00e3o do ministro Alexandre de Moraes, o Minist\u00e9rio forneceu apenas grava\u00e7\u00f5es de duas c\u00e2meras que registravam a entrada principal do pr\u00e9dio, argumentando que o sistema de armazenamento apaga automaticamente registros ap\u00f3s 15 dias.<br \/><br \/>Segundo a corpora\u00e7\u00e3o, a raz\u00e3o para n\u00e3o terem sido guardadas as imagens \u00e9 que n\u00e3o identificaram uma amea\u00e7a direta ao pr\u00e9dio. Assim, somente as grava\u00e7\u00f5es de duas c\u00e2meras situadas no alto do Pal\u00e1cio da Justi\u00e7a, voltadas para a Esplanada, foram mantidas.
