Na quarta-feira, 25, com um corte para impulsionar seu crescimento econ\u00f4mico, o bast\u00e3o foi passado para a Argentina, que agora tem a taxa mais alta: 133%.<br>O valor da taxa de juros que rege um pa\u00eds est\u00e1 relacionado \u00e0 infla\u00e7\u00e3o. Os bancos centrais utilizam esse valor para expandir ou desacelerar a economia e como forma de conter o aumento dos pre\u00e7os.<br>A moeda do Zimb\u00e1bue, o d\u00f3lar zimbabuano, despencou cerca de 85% face ao d\u00f3lar americano entre maio e junho, fazendo com que a infla\u00e7\u00e3o subisse para 176% ao final desse per\u00edodo. Para melhorar a situa\u00e7\u00e3o econ\u00f4mica, o governo ent\u00e3o liberalizou a taxa de c\u00e2mbio e introduziu medidas para promover a utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o da moeda local, tais como exigir que os impostos corporativos fossem pagos em d\u00f3lares zimbabuanos, o que ajudou a estabiliz\u00e1-la e a restaurar alguma estabilidade de pre\u00e7os.<br>Depois da revis\u00e3o da import\u00e2ncia do d\u00f3lar americano na economia do Zimb\u00e1bue, a infla\u00e7\u00e3o anual abrandou para 18,4% em setembro, face aos 77% do m\u00eas anterior. Na Argentina, o aumento excessivo de pre\u00e7os seguiu o caminho inverso: passou de 6% em junho e 6,3% em julho, para 12,4% em agosto e 12,7% em setembro.<br><br>Atr\u00e1s da Argentina e do Zimb\u00e1bue, o pa\u00eds que tem a taxa mais elevada \u00e9 a <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/veja.abril.com.br\/noticias-sobre\/venezuela\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Venezuela<\/a>,<\/strong> mas com 55%, menos de metade do \u00edndice de Buenos Aires.
