O plen\u00e1rio do Senado Federal aprovou nesta quarta-feira, 22, a Proposta de Emenda \u00e0 Constitui\u00e7\u00e3o (PEC) que limita decis\u00f5es monocr\u00e1ticas<\/a> de ministros do Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF). O texto, articulado pela bancada da oposi\u00e7\u00e3o e relatado pelo senador Esperidi\u00e3o Amin (PP-SC), recebeu 52 votos favor\u00e1veis e 18 votos contr\u00e1rios nos dois turnos de vota\u00e7\u00e3o<\/strong>. N\u00e3o houve absten\u00e7\u00e3o. O projeto segue para a C\u00e2mara dos Deputados.
A PEC prop\u00f5e medidas como a defini\u00e7\u00e3o de prazos para pedidos de vista em processos judiciais e a exig\u00eancia de maioria absoluta de votos dos membros para suspender a efic\u00e1cia de leis e de atos normativos de amplo alcance, vedando assim decis\u00f5es unilaterais e monocr\u00e1ticas do STF.
A proposta, que foi aprovada em segundos pela Comiss\u00e3o de Constitui\u00e7\u00e3o e Justi\u00e7a<\/strong> (CCJ)<\/strong> da Casa, ganhou celeridade diante da insatisfa\u00e7\u00e3o de senadores da oposi\u00e7\u00e3o com a Corte. Se aprovada pelo Senado, o texto ainda vai precisar passar pela C\u00e2mara dos Deputados.
De acordo com o presidente do Senado, Rodrigo Pacheco (PSD-MG), a PEC visa a \u201cdiscutir e aprimorar o sistema constitucional\u201d<\/a><\/em> e tem como foco a \u201credu\u00e7\u00e3o do protagonismo de decis\u00f5es monocr\u00e1ticas\u201d, aquelas decis\u00f5es tomadas exclusivamente por um \u00fanico ministro. Apresentada em 2019, a proposta vinha sendo encampada pela bancada bolsonarista, mas nos \u00faltimos dias ganhou o apoio de integrantes, inclusive, da base governista do presidente Luiz In\u00e1cio Lula da Silva (PT).
Oficialmente, o Pal\u00e1cio do Planalto liberou a base governista na vota\u00e7\u00e3o, mas vinha atuando nos bastidores para tentar rejeitar a proposta.
