O Procon-RJ<\/a> interditou o Trem do Corcovado, nesta segunda-feira (17\/3), principal acesso ao Cristo Redentor, ap\u00f3s a morte de um turista ga\u00facho, de 54 anos, que sofreu um infarto nas escadarias do local, no domingo (16\/3).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

O homem passou mal<\/a> e faleceu nas escadarias de acesso ao Cristo Redentor. Ap\u00f3s vistoria, o Procon-RJ interditou a venda dos bilhetes do trem e todo o complexo do Cristo Redentor. O turista foi identificado como Jorge Alex Duarte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Pol\u00edcia Civil do Rio de Janeiro informou que a opera\u00e7\u00e3o est\u00e1 sendo realizada em parceria com a Delegacia do Consumidor (Decon), a Secretaria de Estado de Defesa do Consumidor (Sedcon) e o Procon-RJ, com o objetivo de \u201capurar den\u00fancias de falhas no atendimento do posto de sa\u00fade local, bem como problemas de infraestrutura e acessibilidade\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De acordo com a pol\u00edcia, os representantes das empresas que administram o local foram intimadas para prestar depoimento. A investiga\u00e7\u00e3o segue em andamento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

O Trem do Corcovado, que tem 140 anos de funcionamento, passou por \u201cquatro grandes reformas\u201d. Informa\u00e7\u00f5es preliminares indicam que houve falta de atendimento m\u00e9dico imediato ao homem, al\u00e9m da aus\u00eancia de acessibilidade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

O \u00f3rg\u00e3o informou que o local continuar\u00e1 fechado enquanto o posto m\u00e9dico estiver fechado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

O Instituto Chico Mendes de Conserva\u00e7\u00e3o da Biodiversidade (ICMBio<\/a>) abriu investiga\u00e7\u00e3o para apurar o caso.
