O investimento total foi de R$ 47 milh\u00f5es, provenientes da sociedade civil, da Justi\u00e7a do Trabalho, do Minist\u00e9rio P\u00fablico do Trabalho e de emendas parlamentares do senador Styvenson Valentim, que destinou cerca de R$ 22 milh\u00f5es e articulou a cess\u00e3o do terreno pela Marinha do Brasil.<br \/><br \/><br \/>A nova unidade marca um avan\u00e7o hist\u00f3rico no tratamento do c\u00e2ncer infantojuvenil no RN, eliminando a necessidade de deslocamento de fam\u00edlias para outros estados e ampliando as chances de cura.
