A defesa de F\u00e1bio Lu\u00eds Lula da Silva, o Lulinha, informou ao ministro Andr\u00e9 Mendon\u00e7a, do STF, que a viagem do filho do presidente Lula (PT) a Portugal teve despesas pagas pelo empres\u00e1rio Ant\u00f4nio Carlos Camilo Antunes, conhecido como \u201cCareca do INSS\u201d, preso sob suspeita de envolvimento em esquema de desvios relacionados a aposentados.
As informa\u00e7\u00f5es foram apresentadas formalmente nesta segunda-feira (16) ao STF, segundo a defesa. De acordo com os advogados, a manifesta\u00e7\u00e3o ocorreu no \u00e2mbito de apura\u00e7\u00e3o que tramita na Corte.
O advogado Guilherme Suguimori afirmou \u00e0 CNN Brasil que Lulinha n\u00e3o firmou qualquer neg\u00f3cio com o empres\u00e1rio nem recebeu valores al\u00e9m das despesas da viagem. Segundo a defesa, n\u00e3o houve rela\u00e7\u00e3o comercial entre as partes.
De acordo com a peti\u00e7\u00e3o enviada ao Supremo, Lulinha afirma que conheceu Ant\u00f4nio Carlos por interm\u00e9dio de uma amiga, em 2024, e que o empres\u00e1rio foi apresentado como atuante no setor farmac\u00eautico. A defesa tamb\u00e9m informou que o interesse inicial na aproxima\u00e7\u00e3o teria rela\u00e7\u00e3o com um projeto ligado \u00e0 produ\u00e7\u00e3o de canabidiol medicinal, tema mencionado na manifesta\u00e7\u00e3o.
