Assim como vem sendo cogitado na vizinha Para\u00edba, no Rio Grande do Norte podemos ter um caso de um governador em exerc\u00edcio que vai disputar sua reelei\u00e7\u00e3o, no caso F\u00e1tima Bezerra (PT), ter dois candidatos ao cargo de senado em 2022.
Os pretendentes seriam Carlos Eduardo Alves pelo PDT e o senador Jean Paul Prates pelo PSD, que num entendimento e costura nacional entre os l\u00edderes Lula e Kassab, como o Blog do BG j\u00e1 noticiou anteriormente, poder\u00e1 tentar sua reelei\u00e7\u00e3o em 2022 em um novo partido.
N\u00e3o seria in\u00e9dito um governador ter dois candidatos ao senado, essa possibilidade existe e pode se tornar real. O senador Jean Paul j\u00e1 demonstrou ser contr\u00e1rio a candidatura de Carlos Eduardo, e tamb\u00e9m boa parte da milit\u00e2ncia est\u00e1 descontente com isso. Essa possibilidade iria tranquilizar tamb\u00e9m boa parte da lideran\u00e7a do Partido dos Trabalhadores que se incomodou com a entrada de Carlos, e v\u00ea em Prates a possibilidade de uma candidatura mais \u00e0 esquerda.
O grande problema que muitos petistas t\u00eam relatado \u00e9 que no primeiro turno Carlos Eduardo ter\u00e1 que pedir voto para seu candidato \u00e0 presidente Ciro Gomes (PDT), enquanto Jean Paul poder\u00e1 ficar mais livre para emplacar Lula como seu candidato \u00e0 presid\u00eancia.
