Ao comentar as investiga\u00e7\u00f5es sobre o assunto, Pr\u00e1-t\u00e1-formas classificou como \u201csensacionalismo\u201d as cr\u00edticas pelo preju\u00edzo aos cofres p\u00fablicos.<br><br>\u201cFicam fazendo sensacionalismo. O que voc\u00ea faria no meu lugar? Naquele momento, n\u00e3o tinha respirador nenhum. Sabe quando foi que o Governo Federal fez chegar os respiradores? Em junho. O povo estava precisando de respirador a partir de mar\u00e7o. A gente, de boa-f\u00e9, fizemos (sic) aquela compra. Levamos um calote. A empresa passou um calote. Todas as provid\u00eancias est\u00e3o sendo tomadas no \u00e2mbito judicial para reaver esse preju\u00edzo que o Estado teve. Estamos tranquilos da licitude dos nossos atos\u201d, enfatizou a governadora, em entrevista \u00e0 TV Ponta Negra.<br><br>A compra frustrada dos respiradores \u00e9 investigada no Superior Tribunal de Justi\u00e7a (STJ) desde o ano passado. Atrav\u00e9s do Cons\u00f3rcio Nordeste, o Rio Grande do Norte e demais estados da regi\u00e3o anteciparam recursos para comprar respiradores, mas at\u00e9 hoje n\u00e3o receberam os equipamentos nem o dinheiro de volta.
