O ministro Andr\u00e9 Mendon\u00e7a, do STF, deferiu nesta sexta-feira (13) o pedido de medida cautelar da Advocacia-Geral da Uni\u00e3o contra pol\u00edticas estaduais para cobran\u00e7a do ICMS (Imposto sobre Circula\u00e7\u00e3o de Mercadorias e Servi\u00e7os) sobre o diesel.


De acordo com Mendon\u00e7a, ficaram claras a relev\u00e2ncia e a urg\u00eancia da quest\u00e3o. “Ao se verificar que tanto o Chefe do Poder Executivo \u2014 autor da presente demanda \u2014 quanto o Chefe do Poder Legislativo federal \u2014 que instou o Confaz [Conselho Nacional de Pol\u00edtica Fazend\u00e1ria] a reanalisar a quest\u00e3o por meio do of\u00edcio mencionado \u2014 ocupam-se da mat\u00e9ria, manifestando-se, cada um \u00e0 sua maneira, pela necess\u00e1ria supera\u00e7\u00e3o do status quo, inalterado pela norma vergastada”, escreveu o ministro.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
